Bad Dog Biter Replacement Cutting Heads – Lock It In. Keep It Clean.
A sharp blade means nothing if it’s not held tight. The Bad Dog Biter Replacement Cutting Head is what keeps your blade steady, your cuts clean, and your Biter performing like it should. Machined from high-quality steel for durability and precision, these heads are the heart of your tool’s cutting performance.
Designed to hold the Bad Dog Biter HSS blades securely in place, each head maintains perfect alignment while you cut through materials up to 1/8” thick—including aluminum, mild steel, copper, leather, Formica, Lexan, plastic, and more. If your cuts start to drift or your blade doesn’t feel locked in, it’s probably time for a new head.
Heads are available in 2" and 4" lengths, and must be used in pairs:
Standard Biter (2" Head x2) for tight-radius cuts and everyday jobs
Long Dog (2" + 4" Head) for extended reach and access into panels or overhead ducts
Swapping a head is easy: remove the set screw, slide out the old head, and drop in a new one. Each unit is precision machined to ensure a tight fit and consistent performance, even after thousands of linear feet of cutting.

Sure Does! Our hex end allows you to snap it into your impact gun or you can use it on any battery-operated/corded drill.
As safe as it gets! We created a biting head that will chew through materials… not your finger! The blade is recessed in the cutting head and the opening is only wide enough to let in the thickness of materials the tools can cut.
With most materials it helps with cutting speed, but isn't required. On soft materials like Aluminum and Brass it is required or the metal will gum up the mechanism.
The mechanism of the Bad Dog Biter is Guaranteed for Life! If it ever fails we will repair or replace it. The Pins and Heads are consumables. You get an extra blade and cutting head in your kit which should be good for about 2000 feet of cutting 18 gage mild steel. When you wear them out they are easy and inexpensive to replace.
Dull or damage our tools and we will repair or replace them.
