Bad Dog Biter Replacement Blades – Keep That Biter Barking
Every cutter knows—a dull blade is a dangerous blade. Whether you're slicing through sheet metal, plastics, or composite materials, the Bad Dog Biter needs a sharp edge to keep performing like the beast it is. That’s where Bad Dog Biter Replacement Blades come in.
Made from high-speed steel (HSS) and precision-machined for tight tolerances, these blades are built to cut up to 2,000 linear feet before needing a replacement. If your cuts are starting to drag, chatter, or leave rough edges, it’s time to swap in a fresh one.
Available in 5" length for the Standard Biter and 8" for the Long Dog, each blade is designed for easy installation—just loosen one set screw and push the new blade through. You’ll be back in action in seconds, cutting clean and cruising through everything from aluminum and mild steel to plastics, paper, Lexan, leather, and more.
Whether you’re in the field, in the shop, or up a ladder cutting ductwork, having a sharp backup blade is non-negotiable. Don’t get caught mid-job with a dull edge—stock up and stay sharp.

Mild Steel up to 16 gage. Stainless Steel up to 18 gage. Copper, Brass/Bronze, Aluminum up to 11 gage. Acrylic & Plexiglass, Fiberglass, Wood Veneer, Cork, Laminate, Leather, Polystyrene, Vinyl, Formica, Paper, Plastic up to 11 gage or just under 1/8"
Sure Does! Our hex end allows you to snap it into your impact gun or you can use it on any battery-operated/corded drill.
As safe as it gets! We created a biting head that will chew through materials… not your finger! The blade is recessed in the cutting head and the opening is only wide enough to let in the thickness of materials the tools can cut.
With most materials it helps with cutting speed, but isn't required. On soft materials like Aluminum and Brass it is required or the metal will gum up the mechanism.
The mechanism of the Bad Dog Biter is Guaranteed for Life! If it ever fails we will repair or replace it. The Pins and Heads are consumables. You get an extra blade and cutting head in your kit which should be good for about 2000 feet of cutting 18 gage mild steel. When you wear them out they are easy and inexpensive to replace.
Dull or damage our tools and we will repair or replace them.
